"Take this picture of the Blessed Mother and give it a place of honor in your home. Then your home will become a little shrine in which the picture of grace will mediate many graces, create a holy family atmosphere, and form holy family members."
- Father Joseph Kentenich Founder of Schoenstatt

Schoenstatt is a Catholic lay movement that strives to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the example and guidance of Mary, the mother of God. Schoenstatt was founded on October 18,1914 by Father Joseph Kentenich in the little Schoenstatt valley in the Rhine region of west-central Germany. The word Schoenstatt comes from the German for "beautiful" (schon) and "place" (statt).
Fr Kentenich lived in Milwaukee between 1951-1965. Wisconsin has a rich and vibrant history within the Schoenstatt movement.

Special Prayer Need!
Our beloved Schoenstatt Fathers need our prayers.
By now, most of you know that Father Gerold, Father Hector and Father Dieter are all recovering from health issues of one sort or the other.
We especially need to pray for Father Dieter who's recovery has been very slow.
The Diocesan Committee met on Tuesday, October 6th. A resolution was made. The Committee requests that each of the Schoenstatt Branches offer prayers, intentions, and sacrifices on a specific day of the week according to the following schedule:
Sunday - Rosary Campaign
Monday - Single Womens League
Tuesday - Mens League
Wednesday - Mothers League
Thursday - Girls and Boys Youth
Friday - Family Federation and Couples League
Everyday! - Sisters of Mary
The Fathers are very grateful for our prayers and ask that we please keep them coming! May Father Kentenich intercede in the miracle of physical healing that we so desire for our Schoenstatt Fathers and may our Mother Thrice Admirable be the stronghold they need to endure.
